Broadcaster Jang Seong-kyu is maintaining silence by closing the comments section on his SNS as suspicions arise regarding the workplace bullying incident involving the late Oh Yoanna.
On the 4th, Jang Seong-kyu attended the VIP premiere of the animated film 'Exorcist's Record' held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul, showcasing an all-black styling with a black turtleneck and leather jacket on the photo wall.
He emphasized a classic atmosphere with a neat hairstyle and stylish glasses. However, the controversy surrounding the late Oh Yoanna garnered more attention than his appearance that day.

Previously, the family of the late Oh Yoanna claimed that she left a letter expressing her grievances about workplace bullying during her lifetime and urged for the truth of the incident to be uncovered. MBC has also formed a fact-finding committee to investigate the matter. As the controversy escalated, a portion of the conversation from a 'four-person group chat' was revealed through JTBC's 'Incident Report', mentioning Jang Seong-kyu's name. Consequently, some netizens flocked to his SNS to criticize him, leading him to eventually close the comments section.
Meanwhile, 'Exorcist's Record', which Jang Seong-kyu attended, is an occult blockbuster animation where exorcists fight against absolute evil. His attendance at the event coincided with the film's promotion, creating a peculiar irony. Netizens expressed reactions such as, "Fighting against absolute evil, yet ignoring real-world issues?" and "Why is there no statement as the controversy grows?" questioning his silence.
Currently, Jang Seong-kyu's side has not released an official statement regarding the controversy. There is growing interest in whether he will speak out and clarify his position or continue to maintain silence.
