Broadcaster Jung Hyung Don and G-Dragon mentioned their reunion.
On the afternoon of the 13th, an online press conference for MBC's entertainment program ‘Good Day’ was held. Attendees included G-Dragon, Jung Hyung Don, Defconn, Code Kunst, and PD Kim Tae Ho.
‘Good Day’, which will premiere on the 16th at 9:10 PM, is a music project where G-Dragon collaborates with various figures to complete the song of the year. It will capture the process of telling the stories of various individuals through music, produced by G-Dragon.
Jung Hyung Don and G-Dragon, who received great love for their fantastic bromance chemistry as the ‘Hyung Don Jong’ team at the 2013 ‘Infinite Challenge’ Free Road Music Festival, have met again.
Jung Hyung Don expressed, “Meeting GD is a joyful and happy thing. Many people remember this moment, and past appearances are being re-highlighted through platforms like YouTube. I’m worried about how those who remember that moment will perceive us meeting after 10 years.” He added, “It’s a mix of nervousness and excitement. I have various emotions.”
G-Dragon said, “A lot of time has passed, but I didn’t feel the gap. Personally, I like the brothers themselves, regardless of entertainment trends. The laughter points will always be about smiling when we meet, but I didn’t know if I could laugh that much recently. It ended with laughter. I missed them, so I’m really glad to see them, and I’m thankful that they readily accepted my request for help.”
Defconn also mentioned, “Ten years ago, the viewers remembered the legendary Dongmyo, so there are expectations. I thought about how to meet those expectations. Isn’t that the nature of entertainment? It’s WWE; it has to be funny. I’m excited about the upcoming days.”
