
‘Mickey17’ has claimed the top spot at the weekend box office for three consecutive weeks.
According to the integrated computer network for movie ticket sales from the Korean Film Council on the 17th, ‘Mickey17’ (directed by Bong Joon-ho) attracted 323,576 viewers over the weekend (from the 14th to the 16th), securing the number one position at the box office. The cumulative audience count is 2,604,846.
‘Mickey17’ tells the unpredictable story of Mickey, a disposable (expendable) sent on dangerous missions, who faces his 17th death crisis, only to have ‘Mickey 18’ printed when he is presumed dead. The film stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, and Mark Ruffalo.
In second place is the Japanese animated film ‘Attack on Titan: The Last Attack’ (directed by Yuichiro Hayashi). During the same period, it attracted 162,084 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience count to 201,595.

In third place is ‘Conclave’ (directed by Edward Berger), which attracted 43,116 viewers, with a cumulative audience count of 144,151.

Fourth place goes to the K-Occult animation ‘Exorcism Record’, which attracted 36,064 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience count to 440,016.
Released on the 21st of last month, ‘Exorcism Record’ is an occult blockbuster that depicts the beginning of an epic saga where exorcists with special abilities confront absolute evil. It is based on the novel by Lee Woo-hyuk.
Fifth place is held by ‘Invasion’ (directed by Kim Yeo-jung and Lee Jeong-chan), which gathered 33,486 viewers, with a cumulative audience count of 55,568.
Released on the 12th, ‘Invasion’ is a psychological thriller that depicts the cracks that occur when Yeong-eun (Kwak Sun-young) experiences a breakdown in her daily life due to her daughter So-hyun's strange behavior, and 20 years later, Min (Kwon Yu-ri), who has lost her memories of the past, confronts Hae-young (Lee Seol).
