It has been confirmed that the late actress Kim Sae-ron did not leave a suicide note.
A police official stated during a regular briefing at the National Investigation Headquarters on the 17th regarding the investigation into Kim Sae-ron's death, "We believe she made an extreme choice, and we plan to treat it as a death case."
He added, "No note has been found," and "There is nothing particularly noteworthy in the investigation."
Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, at 4:54 PM the previous day. There were no signs of external intrusion or criminal evidence. She was 25 years old.
Kim Sae-ron debuted as a baby model in the magazine 'Anfang' in 2001 and began her acting career with the film 'Traveler' in 2009. She gained recognition for her role in the movie 'The Man from Nowhere' alongside actor Won Bin in 2010, and appeared in several works including 'Neighbors', 'Manhole', 'Dohee-ya', 'Snowy Road', and 'Local People'.
While actively working, Kim Sae-ron faced a crisis due to a drunk driving incident in 2022.
