Kim Tae-ho PD shared his thoughts on returning to MBC.
An online press conference for MBC's entertainment program 'Good Day' was held on the afternoon of the 13th. Attendees included G-Dragon, Jung Hyung-don, Defconn, Code Kunst, and PD Kim Tae-ho.
'Good Day', which will premiere on the 16th at 9:10 PM, is a music project where G-Dragon collaborates with various figures to complete the song of the year. The show will capture the process of telling the stories of different individuals through music, produced by G-Dragon.
This is Kim Tae-ho PD's return project to MBC, where he left in 2022. After three years, he expressed, "This is the place where I stood alone during the last press conference for 'Infinite Challenge' and the first press meeting for 'How Do You Play?'. It feels new to stand here with all of you. This place has been an important point in my life, and I hope today will be the same," reflecting on his return to MBC's Golden Mouse Hall.
He continued, "With a good intention behind the planning, many people have joined us with a warm heart. There was both joy and fear in thinking, 'Did we really manage to gather such a lineup?' G-Dragon played a bridging role, allowing us to meet new people. We will meet and resolve curiosities about the songs, and in the end, everyone will sing together. We have varied ways of meeting (the participants). I believe we can provide fun each episode with new individuals and new chemistry."
He also mentioned, "It's not that the burden is very heavy, but to say there is none would be a lie. I focused on telling stories I want to tell and stories I like. This time, I had to consider public appeal. Since it's on MBC, there is pressure to achieve positive results in terms of issues and performance," adding, "However, since viewers appreciate it when we do things naturally and comfortably, we are not trying to force or artificially structure it, but rather aligning it with the tendencies of those involved."
'Good Day' will premiere on the 16th at 9:10 PM.
