A junior who filed a complaint against director and actor Yang Ik-jun for assault revealed the situation at the time.
In an interview with TV Report on the 11th, A recounted the circumstances in which he claimed to have been assaulted by Yang Ik-jun.
A stated that during a meeting where Yang Ik-jun offered to provide a lecture opportunity, he was scolded for his tone and claimed he was hit multiple times with a stack of A4 papers, totaling 20 to 30 sheets. He expressed his feelings of injustice, saying, “He hit me in a way that made me feel miserable.”
A filed a complaint against Yang Ik-jun for assault on December 30 of last year. According to the police, Yang Ik-jun is accused of hitting A's head multiple times with a bundle of paper and verbally abusing him at a pub he operates in Seongbuk-gu.
Despite being accused of assault, Yang Ik-jun is scheduled to continue his promotional activities for the movie 'Confession,' which is set to be released on the 19th. He plays the lead role of Ji-yong in this film and will attend the premiere on the 12th to participate in a stage greeting.
