As President Yoon Seok-yeol was arrested on charges of being the leader of a rebellion, some of his supporters stormed into the Seoul Western District Court, causing an illegal violent incident. Actor Yoo-tong defended those involved in the violence at the court, asking for their protection.

On the 20th, Yoo-tong claimed in a video titled ‘The Four Evils, Inciting a Riot, Don’t Be Afraid’ posted on his YouTube channel that “our young people at the Western District Court could not contain their anger and a violent incident occurred.”

He stated, “I hope that awake lawyers will take on the defense of the young people and protect them,” adding, “I hope people do not trust the rotten media and learn the truth through YouTube.”

Earlier, on the 18th, Yoo-tong was seen attending a rally in Gwanghwamun with his teenage daughter, demanding the release of President Yoon.

Previously, the police decided to detain 66 out of the 90 people arrested for the riot that occurred at the Seoul Western District Court and the Constitutional Court.
