Singer Cho Yong-nam confessed that he was diagnosed with a stroke in the past.
On the 1st, the YouTube channel 'Hwagae Jang Talk' released a video titled 'Who is the Genius Recognized by Young-nam, the Disciple of Schopenhauer? Baik Nam-jun Kim Min-ki / Why Young-nam Feels Sorry for Kim Min-ki? / Young-nam Can't Drink Because Alcohol is Bitter?! [Hwagae Jang Talk]'.
Anchor Son Jeong-eun and Cho Yong-nam reminisced about their memories with the late Kim Min-ki while reading Schopenhauer's book together.
Cho Yong-nam, who said he was inspired by Kim Min-ki to create a work featuring the Korean flag, expressed regret, saying, "Kim Min-ki drank a lot. I didn't tell him to stop drinking, but after he died, I thought, 'I should have bought him drinks while he was alive.' I told him to drink as much as he wanted when we met, so I contributed to his early death."
He continued, "I also went on a drinking spree." He recalled, "One day, I picked up a guitar, but my fingers wouldn't move properly. I thought I should play the piano, but I couldn't play that well either. People didn't know. I had always been like that. A few days later, when acquaintances came to my house and talked about it, a friend who was the head professor of emergency medicine at Korea University said we should go to the hospital quickly."
Eventually, after going to the hospital, Cho Yong-nam was diagnosed with a stroke. He revealed, "I started medication treatment right away," adding, "I almost became paralyzed like my father at that time."
He also mentioned, "As I underwent medication treatment, whiskey started to taste bad. As my blood began to return to normal, whiskey became bitter. Since then, I haven't drunk alcohol. Even to this day."
