Comedian Lee Chang-ho has extended a helping hand to families in crisis with sick children as the year-end cold sets in.

According to Metacomedy on the 24th, Lee Chang-ho participated in the 'Support Campaign for Families with Sick Children' through the Korea Food for the Hungry International last month, donating 10 million won along with his heartfelt support.

Through his social media, Lee Chang-ho shared the case of a child suffering from severe brain disease, stating, "The endless treatment and mounting debts are overwhelming, but we still hold onto hope. Please be a beacon of hope for this family," encouraging donations.

Continuing his good deeds through donations, Lee Chang-ho is also known as a representative animal lover in the entertainment industry. He actively participates in various animal-related events and was selected as the '5th Animal Welfare Ambassador of Korea' following his role as the MC for the opening ceremony of the 6th Seoul Animal Film Festival.

Previously, in September 2021, he donated 3 million won to the animal rights organization Kara, and in April 2023, his fans organized a fundraising event that raised over 880,000 won. In June of last year, he donated an additional 4 million won to Kara, and thanks to his consistent charitable efforts, his name 'Lee Chang-ho (Jjangho Co., Ltd.)' was inscribed on the Donor's Wall at the Kara Deobom Paju Center. In July of last year, he adopted a stray dog named Jaka, continuing his commitment to animal welfare.

With his year-end donation, Lee Chang-ho is active not only on various comedy stages but also as an actor in dramas such as 'Strong Woman Gangnam-soon', 'The Chairman is 9th Grade', and 'I Don't Want to Lose'. Recently, he gained attention for his role as the character Jirora in the musical content 'Bread Song Country', successfully hosting the offline performance 'Musical Star Gala Show'.
