The group Artemis (ARTMS) has postponed the release of their single album.
As the wildfire damage continues, the group Artemis has decided to delay the release of their new song 'BURN'.
On the 27th, Artemis announced on their official SNS, "We are currently coordinating with distributors to change the release schedule for the single 'BURN', which was originally scheduled for release on the 28th at 6 PM."
They added, "We will inform our fans, OURI, as soon as the new schedule is confirmed," and expressed, "We send our deepest condolences to all those affected by the wildfires, and we ask for the understanding of our fans, OURI."
Initially, Artemis was set to release the single 'BURN' on the 28th and meet with fans. 'BURN' is a song that had previously released teasers during the LOONA era and is expected to be reborn in an Artemis version, generating much anticipation among fans.
The delay in the release of Artemis's 'BURN' is presumed to be due to the wildfires that began on the 22nd in Uiseong, which spread to nearby areas such as Cheongsong and Andong due to strong winds, resulting in 65 casualties and extensive damage, as well as to prevent further misunderstandings regarding the victims of the wildfires.
Meanwhile, as of 5 AM today (28th), the average extinguishing rate of the wildfires in Gyeongbuk is recorded at 85%. Light rain fell in various wildfire areas overnight, and as wind speeds decreased, the Forest Service stated, "We plan to deploy helicopters to focus on extinguishing the main fire as soon as the sun rises."
