Previously, Demi Moore was considered the most likely candidate for this Academy Awards after winning the Golden Globe, Critics' Choice, and Screen Actors Guild awards for Best Actress, but unfortunately, her winning streak has come to an end.
'Anora' tells the story of Anora, who works as a stripper in New York and encounters a Russian oligarch's son as a client, receiving critical acclaim for its sharp satire of modern class society. In this work, Mikey Madison plays Anora, who falls in love with the young Russian oligarch Vanya and marries him, delivering a heartfelt performance.
Mikey Madison, who gained attention as a dark horse after winning the Best Actress award at the British Academy, took the stage and expressed, "Hollywood has always felt so far away from me, and standing here today is truly amazing."
