Actress Jin Ki-joo revealed the reason for her decision to star in 'Undercover High School'.
On the afternoon of the 20th, a production presentation for MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' was held at the MBC Golden Mouse Hall in Sangam. Attending the event were Seo Kang-joon, Jin Ki-joo, Kim Shin-rok, Jeon Bae-soo, Kim Min-joo, Park Se-hyun, and PD Choi Jeong-in.
Jin Ki-joo spoke about her criteria for choosing the project, saying, "I felt a bit tired. I was waiting for a project that I could watch comfortably and without worries, and this project gave me that feeling." She continued, "As I was captivated by it, I found myself laughing and feeling tense. I think viewers will feel that charm as well, and I believe I can heal a lot through this project, which is why I chose it."
She added, "There is a reason why Su-a must become a teacher in the drama. She faces a dilemma where her sense of mission cannot be fulfilled due to the teacher's sense of duty and social environmental factors. Through this role, I wanted to express the dilemmas that a newcomer to society might face during that time."
Regarding the synchronization rate with her character, Jin Ki-joo shyly said, "Su-a is an E type, but I am an I type. Personally, I think the synchronization rate is not that high."
'Undercover High School' is a drama that depicts the chaotic adventures of a National Intelligence Service agent who disguises as a high school student to track down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold bars. It will premiere on the 21st at 9:50 PM.
