After U.S. President Donald Trump announced a reduction in tariffs on Vietnam, Jahwa Electronics, a domestic smartphone component manufacturer operating factories in Vietnam, is experiencing a rise in stock prices.

The domestic and U.S. stock investment service MK Signal has successfully realized profits with a return of 15.2% for Jahwa Electronics.

MK Signal is a daily economic securities information service that provides investment information and trading signals for over 8,000 domestic and U.S. stocks through a single application (app) for the first time in Korea, powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

Jahwa Electronics specializes in manufacturing electronic components for smartphone camera stabilization parts (actuators). It supplies components to leading companies in the global smartphone market, such as Samsung Electronics and Apple.

The company's stock price has risen by 13.91% in the past month. The driving force behind this increase is attributed to the easing of tariff tensions between the U.S. and Vietnam. On the 2nd of this month (local time), President Trump lowered the previously announced mutual tariff rate on Vietnam from 46% to 20%. Due to the tariff agreement between the U.S. and Vietnam, Jahwa Electronics is expected to reduce the delivery price of goods produced in Vietnam to the U.S.

Jahwa Electronics has been operating a parts factory in Vietnam since entering the market in 2008. Last month, it invested 40.8 billion won in its Vietnamese electronic component manufacturing subsidiary (JH VINA).

There are also expectations regarding the resumption of dividends by Jahwa Electronics. The company suspended dividends in 2018, but recent profitability is considered better than that of its peers, suggesting potential for future dividends.

According to MK Signal, from the 8th to the 14th (excluding holidays), the AI's trading results showed that among the stocks traded weekly, domestic stocks had the highest returns: Jahwa Electronics (15.2%), Mistoholdings (4.66%), and Motrex (4.24%).
