The group SEVENTEEN promised eternity ahead of their military service.
SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon) held their 9th fan meeting 'SEVENTEEN in Carat Land' (hereafter 'Carat Land') on the 21st at 6:30 PM at the Incheon Munhak Stadium.
The unique fan meeting brand 'Carat Land' made its debut in a large stadium this year. This fan meeting was held with the concept of a team-building event for SEVENTEEN and Carats, the employees of the 10-year-old Seventeen Company.
The 'Carat Land' opened with SEVENTEEN's official character, Bongbong, carrying the torch. After a spectacular torch relay with fireworks and colorful smoke, SEVENTEEN made their grand entrance. The members traveled around the stadium in a moving vehicle, heating up the atmosphere with performances of 'Manse', '1 TO 13', and 'WORLD(_WORLD)'.
Returning to the main stage, Joshua said, "I am so excited and looking forward to today. Let's have fun together. I love you," while Wonwoo, who will begin alternative service on April 3, expressed his determination, saying, "I will make many good memories."
Seungkwan also shared, "Yesterday was so much fun, and meeting like this today makes me feel really good. Even though we don't have Jeonghan, we are still 13 members. We prepared this 'Carat Land' with that mindset. I hope you enjoy it together," which received cheers from the audience.
The first corner prepared by SEVENTEEN was 'Seventeen Company, Where is My Seat?', where they discussed their desired and avoided seats in the office based on their order of joining Pledis. Next, they formed teams of three to complete missions and receive approval stamps in the 'Please Approve' corner. SEVENTEEN showcased their playful banter and lively conversation.
The unit reverse stage, which can only be seen at 'Carat Land', also received a warm response from fans. The performance team (Jun, Hoshi, DK, Dino) performed 'Monster', the vocal team (Joshua, Woozi, Dokyeom, Seungkwan) performed 'I Don’t Understand But I Luv U', and the hip-hop team (S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon) performed 'Candy'. Additionally, Hoshi and Woozi's 'Same Age' and the SEVENTEEN Leaders' 'CHEERS' were also presented.
After the stage, Hoshi asked, "How was the unit reverse? The performance team did the hip-hop team's stage, the hip-hop team did the vocal team's stage, and the vocal team did the performance team's stage."
Dino responded, "It was great both during the practice for 'Monster' and on stage," while Seungkwan expressed, "I also enjoyed it. I was a bit shy yesterday, but I think I did well today." Wonwoo added, "I've wanted to perform 'Candy' for a long time, so I'm really happy I could do it today," and S.Coups mentioned, "The song was so difficult that we lowered the key. I realized how well the vocal team sings."
Meanwhile, during the SEVENTEEN medley, they performed a whopping 9 songs in a row, thrilling the fans. The members filled the stage with hit songs starting from 'SOS', followed by 'Rock with You', 'Clap', 'Let Me Hear You Say', '24H', 'Boom Boom', 'This Guy's Popular', 'Left & Right', and 'Eyes on You'.
At the end of the performance, Joshua said, "I'm glad to spend time with you all in such a large venue on a cold day. I feel really happy to be on stage during this fan meeting. I want to go anywhere with Carats and be together for a lifetime. Thank you for always loving us. I will work harder and become a cool SEVENTEEN Joshua."
Next, Dokyeom shared, "I think my feelings of wanting to see you all have filled me with happiness. I hope today's happy feelings give you strength. Thank you for filling this large venue," while Jun added, "I feel like I'm getting charged up thanks to you all during 'Carat Land'. I hope you take care of yourselves and stay warm since the weather is cold."
S.Coups also said, "It was a particularly cold 'Carat Land', but our hearts were warm. I wanted to show our togetherness even if just one of us is missing. Although Jeonghan is not here now, I hope that when all 13 of us gather later, we can bring happiness to each other. Over the past 10 years, we've received a lot of help from many people, but above all, I want to say thank you to the members for their hard work. I hope this year is filled with happy moments. Thank you to the Carats for being with me in my 20s, and I hope you will be with me in my 30s as well."
Meanwhile, Hoshi mentioned, "I and Woozi are also scheduled to enlist. We plan to enlist in the second half of the year, so I think we can create fun memories while spending our 10th anniversary together." He continued, "I've never said this before, but I'm really grateful to S.Coups for keeping us 13 together since we were young," which made S.Coups emotional.
Finally, SEVENTEEN warmly concluded the fan meeting with encore performances of 'Headliner', 'My My', and 'Let's Go Together'.
