The group Aichilin has decided to temporarily suspend their activities following the news of the passing of their senior artist, the late Whisung.
On the 11th, Aichilin expressed their condolences through their official SNS, stating, “We express our deep sorrow for the unfortunate news that we have suddenly received.” This is in honor of the late Whisung.
They further explained, “In respect and mourning for the deceased, all artists and staff of the agency wish to take a moment to honor him. We will temporarily suspend all official activities, including the video call event scheduled for the 12th.”
Aichilin and Whisung were both under the same agency, Tajo Entertainment.
Tajo Entertainment stated the day before, “We are sorry to convey such heartbreaking and tragic news,” and announced, “On the 10th, our artist Whisung left us.”
They continued, “He was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced dead.”
