
Marvel's latest release ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ (hereafter ‘Captain America 4’) has claimed the top spot at the box office for two consecutive days. It also ranks first in ticket reservations.
According to the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on the morning of the 14th, ‘Captain America 4’ attracted 84,841 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience to 208,848.
‘Hitman 2’ maintained its second place, drawing 13,812 viewers on the same day, with a cumulative audience of 2,392,913. It has already surpassed its break-even point (2.3 million) and is enjoying a long run.
‘The Secret That Cannot Be Told’ (directed by Seo Yu-min) remained in third place, attracting 12,879 viewers, with a cumulative audience of about 630,000. Its break-even point is around 800,000.
Song Hye-kyo’s ‘The Black Nuns’ (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae) is in fourth place, receiving 5,764 viewers and a cumulative audience of about 1.63 million. It has successfully surpassed its break-even point (1.6 million) and is performing well overseas.
In fifth place, ‘Substance’ has once again proven the strength of small films, attracting 4,319 viewers and a cumulative audience of about 450,000.
The real-time reservation rate is led by ‘Captain America 4’ with 40.2%. In second place is Bong Joon-ho’s ‘Mickey 17’, which has made the list well ahead of its release. Following them are ‘The Secret That Cannot Be Told’, ‘The Girl We Liked Back Then’, and ‘Exorcism’ in order.
