Ha Jung-woo's new film 'Broken' (directed by Kim Jin-hwang) has quickly risen to 1st place, surpassing 'Hitman 2' (directed by Choi Won-seop) and 'The Black Nuns' (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae).
According to the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on the 6th, 'Broken' attracted 42,562 viewers the previous day, securing the top spot at the box office.
'Hitman 2' has fallen to 2nd place, drawing 33,533 viewers on the same day, with a cumulative audience of 2,083,232. The break-even point is approximately 2.3 million.
In 3rd place is 'A Secret That Cannot Be Told' (directed by Seo Yu-min). This film surpassed 'The Black Nuns' with 22,311 viewers, bringing its total audience to about 410,000. The break-even point for this film is around 800,000.
Song Hye-kyo's 'The Black Nuns' (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae) has dropped two spots to 4th place, attracting 18,675 viewers, with a cumulative audience of about 1.5 million. The break-even point is 1.6 million, and it has entered the countdown.
5th place goes to 'Substance', which drew 4,990 viewers and is on the verge of surpassing a cumulative audience of 400,000. It is demonstrating the power of a small but strong film.
The real-time reservation rate is led by 'A Secret That Cannot Be Told'. Following it are 'Broken', 'Hitman 2', and 'The Black Nuns' in that order.
