As the daily audience for the movie ‘Harbin’ has dropped to 20,000, the new release ‘The Black Nuns’ is closely following behind, signaling a new shift in the box office.

According to the data from the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the 21st, ‘Harbin’ (directed by Woo Min-ho) attracted 21,820 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience to 4,517,410. It is currently ranked 5th in reservation rates. The number of reservations has failed to surpass the break-even point (6.5 million).

In 2nd place is ‘The Black Nuns,’ which attracted 8,738 viewers on the same day. A press screening and special showing were held that day, marking a strong start among the new releases for the holiday season.

3rd place goes to ‘Firefighters’ (directed by Kwak Kyung-taek), which has already surpassed its break-even point (2.5 million). It attracted 7,697 viewers on the same day, bringing its cumulative audience to approximately 3.81 million. Released in early December last year, the film has already achieved its target and is comfortably enjoying long-term success despite various risks.

Currently, the real-time reservation rate shows Song Hye-kyo's ‘The Black Nuns’ leading with an overwhelming 36.7%. In 2nd place is ‘Hitman 2,’ and in 3rd place is ‘Secret That Cannot Be Told.’ 4th place is ‘IU Concert: The Winning.’
