The movie 'Firefighter' and its investment distribution company, ByPoem Studio, will donate 100 million won for the recovery from the wildfire disaster in the Yeongnam region.
The movie 'Firefighter' has raised part of the donation amount to support the recovery and aid for victims in the designated special disaster areas of Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan, and ByPoem Studio has joined in to provide the disaster relief fund of 100 million won, which will be donated to the 'Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.'
The donation will be used for emergency relief and recovery in the wildfire-affected areas, as well as for securing essential supplies and housing safety for the victims.
ByPoem Studio stated, "We hope to help the local residents who have suffered serious damage from the sudden wildfire to return to their daily lives as soon as possible. We also express our gratitude to the firefighters who are working hard on the scene and sincerely wish for a quick extinguishment of the wildfire."
Meanwhile, the movie 'Firefighter' depicts the situation of firefighters who were deployed with the sole goal of extinguishing the fire and rescuing everyone, despite the harsh conditions during the Hongje-dong fire disaster in 2001.
