As the police investigate the cause of death of singer Wheesung, who was found dead at his home, an autopsy will be conducted today (12th).

The National Forensic Service will perform the autopsy on Wheesung's body this morning. While the exact cause of death is not yet known, they plan to investigate whether drug use was involved.

It has been reported that a syringe was found at the scene of Wheesung's death, drawing attention to the autopsy results. The family plans to proceed with cremation immediately after the autopsy without holding a funeral. It is expected that it will take up to three weeks for the results to be released.

Wheesung was found in cardiac arrest at an apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at around 6:29 PM on the 10th and was pronounced dead. He was 43 years old. It is reported that the fire department was dispatched after receiving a call from his mother.

The police currently see no signs of external intrusion or criminal activity and are investigating the presence of a suicide note to confirm the exact cause of death.

Born in 1982, Wheesung debuted in 2002 with his first full album 'Like A Movie'. He gained immense popularity with hit songs such as 'Is It Not Possible', 'Incurable Disease', 'I Even Thought About Marriage', and 'Love is Delicious'.

The deceased was scheduled to perform a joint concert with fellow singer KCM on the 15th and a solo concert on the 23rd, but the performances have been canceled due to the unexpected news.
