Singer KCM paid tribute to the late Wheesung, who suddenly passed away ahead of their joint concert.
On the 11th, KCM posted a photo of chrysanthemums on his social media, expressing his sorrow with the words, "Let's meet on March 15... I'm sorry, Seong-ah..."
KCM was originally scheduled to hold a joint ballad concert titled 'The Story' with Wheesung at the Daegu EXCO Auditorium on the 15th. However, the concert was canceled following Wheesung's passing.
Wheesung's agency, Taz Entertainment, announced on the 10th, "Our artist Wheesung has left us. He was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced dead." He was 43 years old.
The police reported that there were no signs of external intrusion or criminal suspicion, and they plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service along with forensic analysis of his mobile phone to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, Wheesung, born in 1982, debuted in 2002 with his first album 'Like A Movie'. He gained immense popularity with hit songs such as 'Is It Not Possible', 'Incurable Disease', 'I Even Thought About Marriage', and 'Love is Delicious'.
