Yutaka Matsushige, a famous Japanese actor and director, will appear in the new variety sitcom ‘Office Workers’ (directed by Kim Min and Kang Na-ra) on Coupang Play.

According to Coupang Play on the 7th, Yutaka, who popularized the ‘eating alone’ culture with ‘The Lonely Gourmet’, will visit ‘Office Workers’. The released preview for episode 3 features Yutaka visiting DY Planning.

‘Office Workers’ is an office sitcom centered around Shin Dong-yeob, a former celebrity, who runs a small marketing company called DY Planning. Each episode features different guests, and through proposal meetings for promotions or advertisements, comedic situations unfold between the guests and DY employees.

This time, the dignified ‘Goro-san’ will perfectly adapt to the Korean dining culture with the DY Planning team, even participating in a ‘meme challenge’ with the youngest member, Shim Ja-yoon. Notably, he will be seen receiving the absurd question, “When was your last kiss?” which will pique viewers' curiosity about the full story of the special DY Planning dinner.

The aftermath of the DY Planning employees' dinner will also be revealed. The day after the heated dinner with Yutaka, employee Kim Won-hoon will have a look of despair when manager Kim Min-kyo asks, “Don’t you remember confessing to Yeo-eun during last night’s dinner?”

The newly hired assistant Hyun Bong-sik is also set to be a victim of the DY Planning dinner. Following the employees' love line that “he disappeared with Manager Su-ji,” representative Shin Dong-yeob adds with a creepy laugh, “You’re wearing the same clothes as during the dinner,” leading to a fierce outburst of curses from the previously playful Won-hoon, hinting at a strong character development.

‘Office Workers’ has quickly risen to the top of popular works within its first week of release, and in just two episodes, related content including previews, main episodes, and highlights has surpassed 24 million views, showing a rapid increase in popularity.
