The mortuary for the late Kim Sae-ron was set up on the 17th at the Seoul Asan Hospital funeral hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
On this day, the family announced, "We plan to conduct the funeral schedule privately in the future." Accordingly, the funeral service on the 19th will also be held privately.
Actors Won Bin, Han So-hee, and Kim Bo-ra visited the mortuary to bid farewell to the deceased. Ma Dong-seok and Gong Myung also sent wreaths to express their condolences.
The Seongdong Police Station in Seoul reported that they received a report at 4:54 PM on the 16th that Kim Sae-ron had passed away at her home, and upon arrival, they confirmed the death. It is reported that no suicide note was found. She was 25 years old.
Kim Sae-ron debuted as a baby model in the magazine 'Anfang' in 2001 and began her acting career with the film 'Traveler' in 2009. She gained recognition for her role in the 2010 film 'The Man from Nowhere' alongside actor Won Bin, and appeared in several works including 'The Neighbors', 'Manhole', 'Dohee-ya', 'The Road', and 'Neighborhood People'. The film 'Guitar Man', which she completed filming last year, became her last work.
