BLACKPINK's Jisoo, who is currently active as a solo artist, has hinted at her busy schedule as a singer and actress.

According to Jisoo's agency, BLISSOO, she will release her second solo album on February 14 and make a full comeback.

This will be her first album in two years since the release of her solo debut song ‘Flower’ in March 2023, and it is particularly anticipated as it will be the first album released under her one-person agency, BLISSOO.

‘Flower’ achieved impressive results upon its release, ranking 6th on Spotify, 38th on the UK Official Singles Chart, 1st on iTunes in 57 countries worldwide, and 1st on the Global YouTube Song and Music Video charts, confirming Jisoo's strength as a solo artist.

With this album, Jisoo is expected to showcase her unique identity through high-quality music and performances once again.

Before her solo comeback, Jisoo will be active as an actress in the Coupang Play series ‘Newtopia’, which will be released on February 7.

‘Newtopia’ is a K-zombie drama where soldier Jae-yoon (played by Park Jung-min) and his girlfriend Young-joo (played by Jisoo) run towards each other through a zombie-infested downtown Seoul. Jisoo plays the role of Kang Young-joo, Jae-yoon's girlfriend and a new employee from an engineering background.

This will be Jisoo's first new project in four years since JTBC's ‘Snowdrop’ (2021). After making a special appearance in the movie ‘Doctor Cheon and the Lost Talisman’ (2023), there is much interest in her acting in ‘Newtopia’. After ‘Newtopia’, she will continue her acting career with MBC's ‘Monthly Boyfriend’ and the movie ‘The Reader’s Point of View’, both set to be released this year.

After her solo comeback and acting activities, a full group comeback with Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa is also planned. This year, BLACKPINK announced a full group comeback and a new world tour. It remains to be seen how the members, who are thriving in their solo activities, will present themselves as a complete group.
