The Korea Music Label Industry Association (KMLIA) is publicly recruiting participating venues and musicians for the small-scale popular music performance support project 'Lalalala On' ahead of the 2025 concert. This project aims to support small performance venues and indie musicians across the country and introduce various music genres to the public.

The 'Lalalala On' will take place over approximately two months from August to October 2025, with performances held every Monday to Thursday in the Seoul area and from Friday to Sunday in areas outside the metropolitan area.

Each performance will feature teams performing for 25 minutes, with 3 to 4 teams taking the stage per performance. A total of 150 teams are expected to participate across 50 venues nationwide.

The eligibility criteria for venue applications are small performance venues with a seating capacity of 200 or less that regularly plan and host popular music performances. A total of 50 venues will be selected nationwide, including local areas, and will receive differentiated support for venue rental fees.

The eligibility criteria for musician applications are individuals or teams with South Korean nationality who have released at least 5 songs and can perform live for over 20 minutes. Approximately 150 teams will be selected to provide performance opportunities along with performance fees.

Last year, 'Lalalala On' was successfully held at various small performance venues across the country, including Rolling Hall and Prism Hall in Seoul, Club Knock in Incheon, Interplay in Daejeon, Art Hall Agogo in Suncheon, Club Heavy in Daegu, Obangard in Busan, and EDI Hall in Jeju.

Additionally, artists actively participating in the indie scene, such as East Asia Tigers, The Vain, Lacuna, Broken Valentine, Yeonjeong, and Crack Shot, performed and garnered enthusiastic interest and response from the audience, successfully concluding the performances.

Venues and musicians wishing to participate can submit their application forms along with relevant supporting documents to the Korea Music Label Industry Association's email from April 23 to May 18, 2025, by 6 PM.

The selection results are scheduled to be announced in June 2025, and more detailed information can be found on the association's official website and social media.
