The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 26th that actress Bae Suzy has donated 100 million won to support victims of wildfires in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.
Her agency stated, “Upon hearing the news that the wildfire damage is spreading, Bae Suzy wanted to share her heart as it is a desperate situation for those in need of help,” adding, “We hope the wildfires are extinguished as soon as possible so that the neighbors can return to their daily lives.”
Bae Suzy is a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a group of major donors, and has consistently participated in donations during various disasters, including typhoons and heavy rains, since her donation for the Gangwon wildfire in 2019, spreading her positive influence. The total amount she has donated to Hope Bridge has reached 600 million won.
Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon stated, “Bae Suzy’s warm sharing will be delivered as a message of hope to many,” and added, “Hope Bridge will do its best to ensure that this heart reaches the neighbors well.”
