As it approaches a month since the passing of actress the late Seo Hee-won (Shu Shi-yuan), news has emerged that her husband Gu Jun-yeop is experiencing extreme grief, leading to rapid weight loss and a complete loss of appetite.

According to Taiwan's China Times on the 26th (local time), Gu Jun-yeop has recently brought Seo Hee-won's remains to Taiwan and is searching for the optimal place for his wife to rest. The family is considering a tree burial, but they are also exploring options to create a place for relatives and friends to pay their respects.
In this regard, Seo Hee-won's younger sister, Seo Hee-je (Shu Shi-di), stated, “We are reconsidering the funeral method, and Gu Jun-yeop is also in a state of uncertainty.”

Wang Wei-zhong (Wang Wei-chung), a producer close to Seo Hee-won's family, reported, “Gu Jun-yeop has lost a lot of weight compared to before,” adding, “It’s heartbreaking to see the strong figure disappear and him suffering so much.”
Additionally, Seo Hee-won's brother-in-law, Xu Ya-jin (He Ya-jun), also mentioned, “Gu Jun-yeop has rapidly lost weight and is hardly eating,” conveying his mental anguish.

Seo Hee-won passed away on February 2 in Japan due to influenza and pneumonia. The last time she appeared in public was at a banquet organized by her mentor Wang Wei-zhong.
Meanwhile, Taiwanese media reported that Seo Hee-won's family is also discussing plans to erect a statue to honor her forever.

Seo Hee-won and Gu Jun-yeop were lovers in 1998 and reunited after 23 years to marry in 2022. The couple registered their marriage in Korea and Taiwan without holding a wedding ceremony due to COVID-19, and Gu Jun-yeop had been living with Seo Hee-won in Taiwan.
However, Gu Jun-yeop was deeply shocked by Seo Hee-won's sudden death and is still unable to recover from his profound sorrow.
