Actress Park Jung-yoon has heightened immersion with her flawless performance in 'Severe Trauma Center'.
In the Netflix series 'Severe Trauma Center', which was released in January, Park Jung-yoon played the role of Han Ji-young, the daughter of Han Yu-rim (Yoon Kyung-ho), who was brought in with a heart rupture, sparking viewers' curiosity.
'Severe Trauma Center' tells the exhilarating story of genius surgeon Baek Kang-hyuk (Ju Ji-hoon), who is assigned to revive a virtually non-existent severe trauma team after traversing the battlefield. According to the Netflix viewing ranking site Tudum on the 12th, 'Severe Trauma Center' recorded 5.4 million views (the number of views divided by the total running time of the work) in its third week of release, ranking second in the global TV show (non-English) category. It topped the charts in eight countries, including Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Vietnam, and maintained its popularity by ranking in the top 10 in 41 countries, including Bolivia, Chile, and Colombia.

Han Ji-young is the only daughter of Han Yu-rim and is a character saved by Baek Kang-hyuk's quick thinking during surgery when he placed surgical gloves over her heart. This incident transforms Baek Kang-hyuk and Han Yu-rim from enemies to perfect allies. Park Jung-yoon delivered a stable performance as Han Ji-young, providing a humorous moment when she mentioned that she went to medical school because she liked her dad, who was holding a scalpel, leading to a seamless transition to a scene where her father immediately jumps into surgery. Additionally, she showcased her presence by creating a scene where Yang Jae-won (Choo Young-woo), who had a friendship with Ji-young, loses his composure before the surgery due to her situation.

In this regard, Park Jung-yoon expressed her thoughts on her participation through her agency, Anik Entertainment, saying, "I am honored to be part of such a meaningful project," and added, "I think I was able to film without being nervous because my senior Yoon Kyung-ho made me feel comfortable."
Having debuted in 2022 as Do Yu-kyung in Netflix's 'The Silent Sea', Park Jung-yoon has been gaining attention for her solid acting. She has gradually built her acting skills through appearances in the film 'Hero' (2022), Disney Plus's 'Our Police Course' (2022), tvN's 'Link: Eat, Love, Kill' (2022), and Netflix's 'Morning Comes to Psychiatric Ward' (2023). With her impressive performance in 'Severe Trauma Center', attention is focused on the solid filmography that Park Jung-yoon is steadily building.
