The group IVE sent a wreath to pay tribute to the late Kim Ha-neul (8), the victim of the tragic murder of an elementary school student in Daejeon.
On the 11th, at the funeral hall of Konyang University in Seo-gu, Daejeon, the funeral of the late Kim Ha-neul was set up, where a wreath from IVE and a photo card of IVE that Kim Ha-neul had always wanted were placed.
Previously, Kim Ha-neul's father revealed in an interview, “Ha-neul's dream was Jang Won-young. She loved watching Jang Won-young on TV and would always make sure to watch it live.”

Furthermore, he said, “She asked for an IVE photo card of Jang Won-young as a birthday gift,” and added, “If the IVE staff see this news, I would appreciate it if Jang Won-young could say a warm word to our Ha-neul on her way.”
In response, IVE's agency sent a wreath and photo card in the name of IVE, wishing for the late Kim Ha-neul's peace.

Meanwhile, Kim Ha-neul was found stabbed in the audiovisual room of her elementary school in Seo-gu, Daejeon, at around 5:50 PM on the 10th, and was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but ultimately passed away.
The assailant, a 40-year-old teacher identified as A, was present at the scene. It was revealed that Kim Ha-neul lost her life to the knife wielded by A. A admitted to the crime, stating, “I intended to kill any child and die together.”
Additionally, A had taken a leave of absence due to depression and returned to work last December, taking on the role of a subject teacher at the school.
