The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 5th that writer Kim Eun-sook and Yoon Ha-rim, CEO of Hwa & Dam Pictures, donated 60 million won for children and youth in childcare facilities in disaster-affected areas.

The donation will be used through Hope Bridge to select childcare facilities in the Gyeongbuk and Gangwon regions, supporting the birthdays and anniversaries of the children in those institutions.

The two are members of the Hope Bridge high-value donor group 'Hope Bridge Honors Club' and have practiced sharing every time a disaster occurs, starting with donations for the Sewol ferry disaster in 2014, followed by support during floods, wildfires, and earthquakes.

Additionally, they have supported childcare facilities for children in disaster-affected areas every Children's Day and Christmas, and starting this year, they have expanded their support to include birthdays and anniversaries in a continuous partnership format.

Writer Kim Eun-sook stated, “For some, a birthday celebration is a given, but for some children, it may be something they have never experienced,” and added, “I hope that for even one day, the children can feel that ‘I am a special being.’”

Yoon Ha-rim, CEO of Hwa & Dam Pictures, said, “The children who need protection the most are sometimes the most neglected,” and expressed, “I want to help them experience a warm world, even with a small contribution.”
