Park Do-ah will appear as a new face in ‘My Child’s Private Life’.
On the afternoon of the 18th, a press conference for ENA's entertainment program ‘My Child’s Private Life’ was held at the ENA headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul. PD Yoo Chang-seop, PD Kang Bong-kyu, and Writer Baek Soon-young attended the event.
‘My Child’s Private Life’ (hereinafter ‘My Life’) is an entertainment program that allows adults to observe the private lives of children through their first challenges. The broadcast in the second half of last year featured various children's private lives, including the travel challenges of the Dodo siblings Yeon-woo and Ha-young in the U.S., the travel story of Sarang and Yuto in Hong Kong, and Baby Tae-ha, a language genius, on his first errand, which attracted attention.
This season, viewers can look forward to the Dodo siblings' travel story in Vietnam, the photoshoot of Sarang and Yuto, and the return of promising golf player Song Ji-ah.
This time, the dialect genius baby Park Do-ah will appear. PD Kang Bong-kyu said, “The biggest part during the reorganization period was casting Do-ah,” and added, “We have mostly worked with children of celebrities and sports stars who appear on TV, so we wanted to turn our attention to those who do not appear on TV. It was the same when we cast Tae-ha last time. People around said she was pretty, but the production team was scared because it was a first challenge. Thankfully, since Tae-ha was well-received, we had a goal to find another friend like her.”
He continued, “I noticed that child and reached out, and there were many surprising things. I contacted them just looking at one child, and the writer in charge said, ‘Dad knows someone,’ which surprised me. It turned out that he was someone who had also appeared on a variety show. It was fascinating,” raising curiosity.
Park Do-ah's father is none other than Park Jung-woo, a player from Uiseong County who appeared on the KBS2 entertainment program ‘The Joy of Wrestling’. Writer Baek Soon-young added, “He is known as the David of the wrestling world. I was a fan when he appeared, and I really wanted to cast him, but (it became a connection). I didn’t know he was this person’s child when I cast him.”
