As allegations have emerged that late MBC weathercaster Oh Yoanna was a victim of workplace bullying during her lifetime, the rewatch service for the entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block,' in which she appeared, has been suspended.

The production team of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' announced that the rewatch service for episode 170, featuring Oh Yoanna, was halted on December 12 of last year. Videos of her appearance can no longer be found on platforms such as YouTube and Naver TV.

Oh Yoanna passed away at the age of 28 in September of last year. The news was belatedly reported on December 10 of the same year, and subsequently, the Daily Newspaper reported that "a 2,750-character will, equivalent to 17 pages, was found on Oh Yoanna's phone after the password was unlocked," stating that "the will contained complaints about workplace bullying from two specific weathercasters."

According to the media, Oh Yoanna, who became a freelance weathercaster at MBC in May 2021, began experiencing bullying from March of the following year. A colleague weathercaster who joined the company earlier allegedly made a false report and blamed it on Oh Yoanna, while another weathercaster reportedly criticized her for pointing out incorrect weather information, saying, "How dare a junior point out a senior's mistake."

One of them is said to have called her to the office after working hours, claiming it was necessary to teach her, and prevented her from leaving for more than 1 to 1.5 hours. Additionally, when Oh Yoanna was cast for tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' in 2022, messages and voice recordings criticizing her with the remark, "What can you say when you go out?" were reportedly discovered.

MBC stated regarding the allegations of workplace bullying against late Oh Yoanna, "The deceased never reported her grievances to the responsible departments (Human Resources Team of the Management Support Department, Clean Center of the Audit Department) or to the management personnel she worked with while freelancing."

They added, "If the deceased had officially reported her grievances (such as workplace bullying) to the company at that time, or even if she had informed responsible managers of the facts to some extent, the company would have naturally conducted a proper investigation," and stated, "If the bereaved family requests fact-checking based on the newly discovered will, MBC is prepared to commence an investigation into the truth as soon as possible."

The family of late Oh Yoanna has filed a civil lawsuit against her workplace colleagues as of December last year.
