The teaser trailer for actress Jeon Hye-jin's comeback project ‘Riding Life’ has been released.
The Genie TV original drama ‘Riding Life’ (written by Seong Yoon-ah and Jo Won-dong, directed by Kim Cheol-kyu), which will be released on March 3 at 10 PM, depicts the heart-wrenching life of three generations of women in Daechi-dong, where working mom Jeong Eun (played by Jeon Hye-jin) entrusts her daughter’s ‘7-year-old exam’ riding to her mother, Ji-a (played by Jo Min-soo). The ‘7-year-old exam’ refers to the entrance test for sending children to a famous English academy, shedding light on the previously unaddressed issue of early childhood private education in dramas.
The newly released teaser trailer captures the daily life of working mom Jeong Eun, who feels overwhelmed, and Ji-a, who unexpectedly jumps into twilight parenting at the request of her daughter.
The video begins with Jeong Eun in a state of shock after being informed that her sitter suddenly quit. It follows her day: waking up at 7:30 AM, riding to kindergarten at 8 AM, arriving late to work at 9:20 AM, rushing to the academy riding during lunch at 12:30 PM, and parenting counseling after work at 7:30 PM. Jeong Eun's tightly packed schedule resonates with the reality of working moms.
Desperately searching for a sitter, Jeong Eun is blessed with a ‘precious person’—her mother Ji-a, who becomes her savior and steps in as a riding substitute. Although she thought she had graduated from parenting, Ji-a finds herself thrown into the tumultuous world of academy riding for the first time while holding her granddaughter's hand. Despite Ji-a's concerns that the kids will grow up well on their own, Jeong Eun ignites her passion for education and runs with her daughter Seo-yoon (played by Kim Sa-rang). The ambiguous phrase “Today Again in the Heart-Wrenching Daechi-dong Life” piques curiosity about the mother-daughter duo's chaotic ‘riding life’.
