‘It’s a relief to take a break’ features fugu sashimi for the first time.
On the 20th at 9 PM, the MBC entertainment program ‘It’s a relief to take a break’ (hereafter ‘Pook Da Haeng’) will showcase the second day of operations on a 0.5-star deserted island with Olympic fencing gold medalist Oh Sang-wook, South Korea's leading short track athlete Kwak Yoon-ki, and chefs Kim Dae-ho, Park Jun-hyung, and Jeong Ho-young. In the studio, ‘CEO An’ Ahn Jung-hwan, Boom, Choi Ye-na, and announcer Oh Seung-hoon will join.
While fugu has occasionally been caught on the 0.5-star deserted island, it is highly toxic and can only be prepared by certified individuals, making it merely a ‘dream on a plate’. However, on this day, with Jeong Ho-young, who holds a fugu cooking certification, ‘Pook Da Haeng’ will challenge fugu sashimi for the first time.
In fact, Jeong Ho-young is an expert who has obtained fugu-related certifications in both Japan and Korea. Seeing this, Ahn Jung-hwan expresses envy, saying, “I really love fugu sashimi… I like fugu the most.” As Jeong Ho-young begins to prepare the fugu, everyone’s attention is drawn to this unprecedented sight on ‘Pook Da Haeng’.
Jeong Ho-young ensures safety by removing the toxic parts of the fugu and thoroughly cleaning the tools used. The workers, captivated by this rare scene not usually seen, gather around him and bombard him with questions. In particular, Oh Sang-wook humorously asks, “If I touch fugu with my injured hand, will I die?” adding to the anticipation with his curious inquiries.
Meanwhile, the fugu sashimi, making its debut on the 0.5-star deserted island, can be seen on MBC’s ‘It’s a relief to take a break’ airing on the 20th at 9 PM.
