Park Soo-hong and Jeong Ji-sun became the recipients of the Excellence Award in Reality at the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards'.
The '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards' took place on the afternoon of the 21st at the KBS New Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. Actors Lee Joon and singers Lee Young-ji and Lee Chan-won hosted the event.
Park Soo-hong from 'The Return of Superman' said, "I've seen many award ceremonies, but it's been six years since I hosted an acting award ceremony. I became a comedian 34 years ago. I'm overwhelmed with emotion. I don't usually win awards, so this is my first award from KBS. I was about to go home after the first part due to parenting, but they told me I was a nominee. I didn't know until then, but I'm happy," and added, "Today, my daughter Jae-i saw the golden poop twice," referring to the color of the trophy.
He continued, "I want to thank the production team of 'Superman is Back' for always treating me warmly. I won't forget it. Above all, I love my daughter Da-hong, my daughter Jae-i, and my mother-in-law who comes to help me with parenting, and I sincerely love and thank my wife Kim Da-ye for giving me this opportunity again."
Jeong Ji-sun from 'The Boss's Ears are Donkey Ears' expressed, "I want to thank Chef Lee Yeon-bok and Chef Yeo Kyung-rae who really helped me. I will try to live more diligently. Jeon Hyun-moo and Kim Sook helped me a lot. I will work harder," conveying her gratitude.
This year's Grand Prize nominees include Yoo Jae-suk from 'Syncro', Jeon Hyun-moo from 'The Boss's Ears are Donkey Ears', Ryu Soo-young from 'New Menu Launch Restaurant', Lee Chan-won from 'Immortal Songs' and 'New Menu Launch Restaurant', and Kim Jong-min from '1 Night 2 Days' Season 4.
