The episode of KBS2’s ‘Superman Returns’ (hereafter ‘Superman’) airing on the 18th is titled ‘Greater Happiness Together’ and features 3MCs Park Soo-hong, Choi Ji-woo, and Ahn Young-mi alongside Superman Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, and Jeong Mi-ae.
In the previous episode, Park Soo-hong shared the struggles of a novice dad through sleepless nights with his daughter Jae-i, providing empathy and laughter to the audience. In this episode, Park Soo-hong’s overflowing love for his daughter Jae-i leads to hilarious parenting delusions.
‘Late-blooming dad’ Park Soo-hong briefly expresses the hardships of real parenting before bursting with uncontrollable love for his daughter Jae-i. When Choi Ji-woo exclaims, “Jae-i has double eyelids now,” Park Soo-hong’s chatterbox mode kicks in. He says, “I was upset because people kept saying she looks like a general. But now that she has double eyelids, she’s so pretty,” proudly showcasing Jae-i’s already distinct double eyelids at just 2 months old.
Park Soo-hong requests Jae-i, “Please smile just once~,” and when she smiles, he adds, “It’s not just because she’s my daughter; she understands everything I say,” expressing his joy as a novice dad with his parenting delusions, which elicits laughter.
