Actress and singer Jang Nara has joined in donating to support victims of the wildfire.

On the 31st, the international relief and development NGO World Vision announced, "Jang Nara has donated 50 million won to help the victims affected by the large wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions."

The donation will be fully used for emergency relief supplies for children and residents in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions, emergency living expenses, support for appliances and furniture, and programs for psychological and emotional recovery, according to Jang Nara's wishes.

Jang Nara stated, "I hope this helps the victims who are suddenly facing great difficulties due to the wildfires. I deeply appreciate all the efforts of those working on wildfire extinguishing and relief activities, and I hope for a swift recovery from the damage."

Meanwhile, since the 21st, wildfires in the Yeongnam region, including Sancheong in Gyeongnam and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, have resulted in numerous victims, including fatalities.

Currently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has expanded the existing disaster safety initial response team into an emergency response team that includes relevant departments due to the ongoing dry weather and strong winds causing the wildfires to spread, resulting in many casualties and victims.
