Singer G-Dragon has sold out tickets for his world tour concert in Korea, held for the first time in 8 years.
According to his agency, Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon's world tour 'Weaverman in Korea', in collaboration with Coupang Play, sold out during pre-sales on the 26th, and general sales on the 27th also sold out immediately upon ticket release, totaling 64,000 seats sold out over the two days.
This was a complete sell-out on the domestic Coupang Play site released at 8 PM on the 27th, and on the global Interpark and Trip.com booking sites at 9 PM, with particularly 240,000 concurrent users flocking to the Coupang Play general sales, showcasing the fandom's power reminiscent of a ticketing war.
This world tour will take place on March 29 and 30 at 6:30 PM at the Goyang Sports Complex located in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City, marking the first concert in 8 years since the second world tour held in 2017. G-Dragon previously set the record for the largest tour by a solo artist with his earlier world tour, and this performance is also highly anticipated.
With ticket sales, excitement is building for the new song stages. This concert will feature new songs from G-Dragon's first regular album 'Weaverman', released after 11 years and 5 months, as well as performances of legendary songs that have been loved over the years.
