
Singer and actor Lee Junho has donated 100 million won to support the treatment of vulnerable children and adolescents, sharing his warm heart.
Recently, Lee Junho donated 100 million won to Samsung Medical Center to support the treatment of vulnerable children and adolescents. The funds provided to Samsung Medical Center will be used for surgeries, transplants, rehabilitation, and emotional support programs for pediatric patients.
Through his agency JYP Entertainment, Lee Junho expressed, “In celebration of Christmas, I wanted to give back the love I have received and joined in sharing with the hope that children in need of treatment can have a warm end of the year. I wish for more children to grow up healthy and dream in the coming new year. I want to continue to show interest and love for places that need a helping hand.”
Lee Junho has been consistently engaged in charitable activities that convey his heart to society. He began his relationship with the international relief and development NGO World Vision in 2011 by sponsoring children in Ethiopia and Ghana, and after being officially appointed as a World Vision ambassador in 2012, he actively participated in various activities, including the 'Global 6K for Water' campaign. Starting in 2015, he set up a booth to promote child sponsorship programs at his solo concerts held in 2017 and 2024, encouraging participation and fostering a healthy culture of sharing with his fans.
In 2019, he donated funds to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support relief supplies and recovery efforts for the wildfire-affected areas in Gangwon Province, and that same year, he donated a vehicle for users of a facility for people with severe disabilities in Seocho-gu, Seoul. In 2020, he provided emergency relief funds to World Vision for children struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in 2022, as part of the agreement between JYP Entertainment and World Vision to support overseas children's medical expenses, he conducted an eco-friendly comfort funding project for children in Mongolia, demonstrating his positive influence. Through donations, volunteer work, and sponsorship activities, he is realizing the value of sharing and has been named a member of the Honor Society of the Fruit of Love, a group of high-value donors contributing over 100 million won this year.
Meanwhile, Lee Junho will hold a fan concert titled '2025 Lee Junho Fancon Midnight Sun' at Incheon Inspire Arena on January 25 and 26 next year. Following the Incheon performance, he will meet global fans in Tokyo from February 8 to 9, and in São Paulo from March 1 to 2, local time, and will reach out to viewers worldwide with his upcoming Netflix series 'Cashierro.'
