‘Mickey17’ has maintained its position at the top of the box office, while Disney's musical film ‘Snow White’ aims for the throne.
According to the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on the 18th, ‘Mickey17’ (directed by Bong Joon-ho) attracted over 29,000 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience to 2,634,423.
‘Mickey17’ features a disposable (expendable) character who is sent on dangerous missions, and as Mickey faces his 17th death crisis, ‘Mickey 18’ is printed, leading to unpredictable events. The film stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, and Mark Ruffalo.
In 2nd place is the Japanese animated film ‘Attack on Titan: The Last Attack’ (directed by Yuichiro Hayashi), which attracted over 19,000 viewers on the same day, bringing its cumulative audience to 221,009.
‘Attack on Titan: The Last Attack’ is the highly anticipated final chapter that concludes the 10-year-long Attack on Titan animation series.
3rd place goes to ‘Conclave’ (directed by Edward Berger), which was attended by 6,107 viewers, with a cumulative audience of about 150,000.
‘Conclave’ is a thriller that uncovers the disputes, conspiracies, and betrayals hidden behind the secret world of the ‘conclave’ that elects a new pope, and it won the Adapted Screenplay award at this year's Academy Awards.
4th place is ‘Invasion’, and 5th place is the K-Occult animation ‘Exorcism Chronicles’.
As of 7:45 AM on that day, the real-time reservation rate shows Disney's live-action film ‘Snow White’ leading with 13.8%. Following it are ‘Streaming’ and ‘Attack on Titan: The Movie’.
