‘Mickey17’ (directed by Bong Joon-ho) showcased its strength again over the weekend.
According to the integrated ticketing system of the Korean Film Council on the morning of the 16th, ‘Mickey17’ attracted 144,039 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience to 2,487,426. The film, which had been recording audience numbers in the 40,000 to 50,000 range during weekdays, regained its vitality with double-digit audience numbers over the weekend.
In second place is the Japanese film ‘Attack on Titan: The Last Attack’, which attracted 66,954 viewers on the same day, with a cumulative audience of about 140,000.
Third place goes to ‘Conclave’, which drew around 18,000 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience to about 120,000. Fourth place is held by ‘Exorcism’, with a cumulative audience of around 420,000, while fifth place is ‘Invasion’, with a cumulative audience of about 44,000.
In real-time ticket sales, ‘Mickey17’ is also in the lead, followed by ‘Attack on Titan: The Last Attack’, ‘Snow White’, and ‘Streaming’ in that order.
