Director Bong Joon-ho's new film ‘Mickey 17’ has taken over the weekend box office as expected. It is overwhelmingly in first place.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the morning of the 4th, ‘Mickey 17’ attracted 316,115 viewers the previous day, bringing its total audience to 1,303,007.

The Marvel superhero film ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ (hereafter ‘Captain America 4’) has fallen to second place. On the same day, it attracted 32,562 viewers, with a cumulative audience of 1,584,177.

‘The Exorcist’ ranked third. On the same day, it attracted around 28,000 viewers, bringing its total audience to about 300,000.

In fourth place is ‘It’s Okay, It’s Okay, It’s Okay’. It attracted around 10,000 viewers, with a cumulative audience of about 67,000. Following that, ‘Cheer Up, Korea’ and ‘Paddington: Going to Peru!’ ranked fifth and sixth, respectively.

The real-time reservation rate is still led by ‘Mickey 17’. However, the number of reservations has dropped to around 80,000. Following that are ‘Play Brave in Cinema’, ‘Controversy’, and ‘The Exorcist’ in order.
