On the morning of the 20th, a preview screening and press conference for the film ‘Mickey 17’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul, attended by director Bong Joon-ho and actor Robert Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson said, “It’s amazing that I’ve never been to Seoul before. This is my first time in Korea.”
He continued, “I wanted to meet Korean fans and also wanted to meet the director,” explaining his reasons for visiting Korea.
This is Robert Pattinson's first visit to Korea. He arrived through Incheon International Airport on the 19th. Despite a busy schedule filming his next project, he reportedly showed a strong desire to visit Korea, the home country of director Bong Joon-ho.
‘Mickey 17’ tells the unpredictable story of ‘Mickey’, a disposable (expendable) sent on dangerous missions, who faces his 17th death crisis when he is thought to be dead and ‘Mickey 18’ is printed. The film will be released in South Korea on February 28.
