
Comedian Park Sung-kwang has been busy for the second day trying to change his SKT SIM card.
On the 29th, Park Sung-kwang posted on SNS, “I’ve been a loyal customer for 20 years, why are you doing this to me? I came to change my SIM chip, but the line is enormous,” along with a photo.
The photo shows a long line of people waiting in front of the store to change their SIM cards.
Earlier, on the 28th, Park Sung-kwang also shared a photo with the caption “This is crazy...” while accessing the website for SIM protection services. The photo revealed that there were 470,000 people waiting to access the SK Telecom mobile website, T World, and that the estimated waiting time was 132 hours.
SKT identified that SIM information was leaked due to malicious code from hackers on the 18th. Since the 28th, they have been providing SIM replacement services for 25 million subscribers at T World stores nationwide.
