Kim Sae-ron debuted as a baby model in the 2001 magazine "Anfang" and began her acting career with the 2009 film "The Traveler." She gained recognition for her role in the 2010 film "The Man from Nowhere" alongside actor Won Bin and appeared in various works such as "Neighbor," "Manhole," "Dohee-ya," "Snow Road," and "Neighborhood People."
In 2022, she faced a setback in her image due to a drunk driving incident. At that time, Kim Sae-ron drove her car near Hakdong Intersection in Gangnam, Seoul, after drinking, crashing into guardrails and transformers. Ultimately, she was fined 20 million won in May 2023 through a trial.
As a result of this incident, her scenes in the Netflix series "Hunting Dogs" were heavily edited, and she withdrew from the drama "Trolley," in which she was scheduled to appear. Afterward, she aimed for a return to acting after two years through the play "Dongchimi," but faced difficulties due to negative public opinion. The film "Guitar Man," which she completed filming last year, became her last work.
The deceased's funeral will be held on the 19th at 6:20 AM and will be conducted privately according to the family's wishes.
