Broadcaster Park Seul-ki has paid tribute to the late Kim Sae-ron.
On the 17th, Park posted a photo of a chrysanthemum on Instagram, saying, "I hope you find peace there without any pain... Rest in peace."
The Seongdong Police Station in Seoul reported that they received a call at 4:54 PM on the 16th regarding Kim Sae-ron's death at her home, and upon arrival, they confirmed the death. It is reported that no suicide note was found. She was 25 years old.
Kim Sae-ron debuted as a baby model in the magazine "Anfang" in 2001 and began her acting career with the film "Traveler" in 2009. She gained recognition for her role in the 2010 film "The Man from Nowhere" alongside actor Won Bin, and went on to appear in various works such as "Neighbors," "Manhole," "Dohee-ya," "Snowy Road," and "Local People."
The late Kim Sae-ron's funeral is set to be held at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, with the burial scheduled for 6:20 AM on the 19th.
