Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu has once again clarified his position amid allegations that he neglected workplace bullying against the late MBC weathercaster Oh Yoanna.

Jang Sung-kyu expressed his stance by directly refuting comments on his YouTube channel 'Jang Sung-kyu Universe'.

In response to a comment from a netizen saying, “If you cover for Kim Ga-young, you’ll really die. You know what I mean,” Jang replied, “If you keep being manipulated by false incitement, you’ll die. You know what I mean.” He also responded to comments questioning his relationship with the deceased, such as “If you were close, why didn’t you attend the funeral?” by saying, “I heard they didn’t want to inform those around them on purpose. It’s upsetting.”

Previously, Jang Sung-kyu was embroiled in allegations that he facilitated workplace bullying against Oh Yoanna. This was due to the revelation of a group chat among MBC weathercasters by the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Research Institute', which mentioned Jang Sung-kyu's name. There are claims that Jang ignored the conflict between Oh Yoanna and the alleged perpetrator despite being aware of it.

Subsequently, a netizen on the YouTube channel wrote to Jang Sung-kyu, “Mr. Jang Sung-kyu, do you have any sense of guilt? It’s really pathetic that you would tell your seniors about the difficult situation Oh Yoanna explained to you,” and added, “If you have any conscience left, go apologize to Oh Yoanna’s family right now. If you pretend not to know, you are also an accomplice.”

In response, Jang Sung-kyu personally addressed the issue, saying, “Brother Se-yi, thanks to you, I’ve been called a murderer, and there are people leaving malicious comments about my sons. Your influence is huge.” He continued, “I’m trying to respect your way of life. However, once the facts are clarified, I would appreciate a correction.”

On the 5th, Jang Sung-kyu had previously requested that people refrain from leaving malicious comments about his family, stating that there were inaccuracies in the information being spread.

Meanwhile, Lee Dong-won, the PD of SBS's 'Tails That Bite Tails', who is currently working with Jang Sung-kyu, drew attention by leaving a supportive comment saying, “Stay strong. I believe in you.”
