On this day, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho released a video titled “Kim Sae-ron Self-Deleted Again.. Disappearing After Marriage Rumors? I Tried Contacting Her Directly” on his YouTube channel ‘Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho’.
Lee Jin-ho mentioned the recent marriage rumors surrounding Kim Sae-ron, stating, “I tried to contact her directly to hear her side of the story regarding this matter.” However, when he connected to Kim Sae-ron's phone number, he received a message saying, “The number you have dialed is not in service.”
Lee Jin-ho said, “It was a number that was reachable just this week, but now it’s showing as a non-existent number. It seems she has deleted her number due to this controversy,” adding, “With the lack of sincerity in her self-reflection and the absence of minimal responsibility as a famous celebrity, the public continues to turn their backs on Kim Sae-ron.”
Earlier, on the 6th, Kim Sae-ron posted a photo on social media with the caption “Marry.” The photo showed Kim Sae-ron posing affectionately with a man. Although the photo was deleted shortly after, the fact that she posted it with the word “Marry” spread across social media and online communities, leading to marriage rumors.
However, according to a report by Hankyung.com on the 8th, Kim Sae-ron clarified in an interview with the media, “It’s a photo taken with friends,” and stated, “The marriage rumors are not true.” Regarding the reason for the deletion, she added, “It’s hard to explain,” and requested understanding.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron was involved in a drunk driving incident in May 2022 in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where she crashed into guardrails, street trees, and a transformer more than three times. At the time, her blood alcohol concentration was reported to be 0.2%, well above the level for license revocation (0.08%). Kim Sae-ron was charged with violating the Road Traffic Act and faced trial, receiving a fine of 20 million won.
