
Reports of singer Seungri, who was released after serving time for the 'Burning Sun incident', have surfaced in Korea.
According to Sports Kyunghyang on the 6th, Seungri has recently been spotted frequently at restaurants and pubs located in Gangnam, Seoul.
The media outlet quoted a tipster saying, "Seungri visits the pub at least twice a week," and added, "He quietly drinks and leaves the place."
Seungri debuted in 2006 as a member of the YG Entertainment group Big Bang, but he was dishonorably discharged from the team in 2019 after being identified as a key figure in the so-called 'Burning Sun Gate'.
At that time, Seungri was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on a total of 9 charges, including violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, habitual gambling, violation of the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act, violation of the Food Sanitation Act, embezzlement in the course of business, and instigation of special assault.
After completing his sentence at the Yeoju Correctional Facility on February 9, 2023, Seungri was reported to have attended parties and events in Hong Kong and Indonesia after his release.
