BTS's V has donated 200 million won to support wildfire victims.
The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kim Cheol-soo) announced on the 31st that BTS's V has donated 200 million won to support the victims of the recent large-scale wildfires and the firefighters who are dedicated on the front lines.
Of the donation, 100 million won will be used for emergency relief activities and recovery support for the victims in wildfire-affected areas such as Sancheong-gun in Gyeongnam, Uiseong-gun in Gyeongbuk, and Ulju-gun in Ulsan.

The remaining 100 million won will be used for support projects aimed at improving the recovery and treatment of firefighters who have worked hard to extinguish the fires and rescue lives on-site.
BTS's V stated, "I express my deep respect to all those who have suffered due to this sudden disaster, as well as the firefighters, rescue workers, and volunteers who are risking their lives on the front lines."
He continued, "While I was on military duty and watching the news during evening roll call, I felt very bad, and I thought there might be people among my comrades' families who have also suffered. Fortunately, the wildfire has been mostly extinguished, but I hope there will be no further loss of life, and I wish for my donation to be a small help."
Chairman Kim Cheol-soo of the Korean Red Cross expressed gratitude for the valuable donation to protect the safety and lives of the people, stating, "We will execute the donation transparently and responsibly so that it can be a practical support for the victims and firefighters."
